Old Black & White Golf Course Photographs
« on: April 28, 2025, 07:01:36 AM »
I recently came across the 1930-1931 USGA Green Section Bulletin, which included a few golf course photographs I hadn’t seen before.  Some of you may have come across these already, but I thought I would include them all in one thread considering they highlight several different courses and architects work. Feel free to add any interesting old GCA related black and white photographs

When looking at these photographs and those in “ Golf Architecture in America”  one thought crosses my mind:  Has golf course architecture steadily devolved over the past 90 years or so?

Just a brief thought, with sincere apologies to today’s talented architects.
