Bald once more for Cancer Research
« on: February 11, 2024, 09:33:50 AM »
Hello, all.

It's that time of year again, when I make a pitch for cancer research support, at Buffalo's Roswell Park Cancer Institute. 2023 was different from every preceding year. My wife was diagnosed in December of 2022, and underwent six months of chemotherapy, followed by targeted radiation. I went overnight from ally on the sidelines, to helpless and hoping. In December of 2023, she received a clean scan.

As some know, you don't ever put it in the past. Screens every three months are now the new normal. Uncertainty until the news comes in, is the new normal. My motivation to raise funds is even greater, now.

Thank you for your attention today. Here is a link if you know someone with interest in donation.
