Well that was mesmerizing...

It was just fun to watch their joy.

Golfís essentially a simple ball, stick, hole game and a pastime thatís supposed to be fun.
Itís all the malarkey that surrounds the game that makes it complex and costly and leads to its less than favourable reputation within some elements of society.

There is a comment on the video basically saying these greens are bothering me too much, canít make a putt.

To which someone replied, you missed the point of the whole video.

I played there in July. It was 50įF and raining sideways the entire time.

Iíll fess up and say I didnít play all 18 holes due to conditions.

One could make a very nice day of golf by combining Iona with a round at Tobermory on the Isle of Mull.

I was wondering why they were putting with modern putters though. I would definitely bring a low-loft chipper if I every played here, and possibly a 3 iron if I didn't have one. Keeping the weight of the ball off the grass for as long as possible should be pretty beneficial. I suspect it's the same reason why folks like Bobby Jones had putters with quite a bit of loft.
