OT Public transportation from Edinburgh to St. Andrews

Can someone offer some ideas for public transportation from Edinburgh to St. Andrews? Thank you!

You can get a train from Edinburgh to Leuchars Junction, but you have to get a bus (or, I suppose, call a cab) to get into St Andrews.


I imagine there’s a bus that connects the two cities but I will defer to locals on that one.

Just don’t get confused that the main Bus Station in Edinburgh is at St Andrews Square!
