Eureka Earth, Augusta National is performing significant earth moving on the Par 3 course, including draining the northern pond.
Could it be that the club is going to build the Approach and Pitch course MacKenzie drew up in 1932?
Probably not, but its fun to speculate what they are doing. My hunch is they are redesigning the first 5 or 6 to help patron navigation and viewing around those holes.
