Excellent stuff. We'll need to meet up for a game well before then.

That would be great…it’s been too long. Can get a game any time you fancy travelling to the East or fine to sort out a neutral venue if there’s somewhere else you wanted to see.

Great stuff.

Reminder the only pinch point is Sunday Morning and if James and Frank will accept they are currently reserves  for that round only, we are fine.   NB The Sunday AM round is likely now full.

The max we have so far is 30 on the Saturday PM.  So two spaces remain for those who wish to play 4 rounds.
We can also cope with a couple more than that who whish to play Sun PM/Monday.
NB this often changes as players arrive carrying injuries and ask to play fewer rounds.

NB I've updated the interest shown on post two and if I've misunderstood the rounds you wish to play please let me know, but so far everyone is in and I'll try an keep this updated daily.

I will l have time on Monday to try and sort Paypal again.

Nearer the time I will book the village Curry House for the Sunday evening - unless someone who has experience of recently eating in the village has a better idea?

Just an add on.

A couple of miles away from Seacroft GC is North Shore Golf Hotel.  I know Colt looked at the land but the website says its Braid.

https://northshoregolf.co.uk/the-course/

I don't personally know anyone who's played it, have heard mixed reports and that its about half & half links and parkland.  Anyone with an opinion?  Might be worth a checkout?

However it is very convenient(not that ever influenced Bud'ista's) their rates are
Diner, B&B and two rounds of Golf
Shared twin room £125pp
Single room £155
Double room solo £170.
Check with Elizabeth on Reception. If we can get 16 one is free!  01754 763298

Having played a lot in South Lincolnshire in Scratch league matches and feedback from other golfers North Shore is ok (might be worth just playing the Braid holes if you can) however Sleaford is better as an additional course it is like an inland links and a hidden gem always enjoy playing there. Its was designed by Tom Williamson of Hollinwell fame.

Its a shame that Sandilands just north of Skegness is no longer I had one of my best ever round tee to green there it was a pity my putter had an off day as missed a lot of sitters and still shot 3 under gross.

To the guys who are heading off to Brancaster - try Sutton Bridge just off the A17 on the way to Woodhall its a 9 holer and quirky course. Hole 5 is one of the most iconic holes in Lincolnshire. http://www.club-noticeboard.co.uk/suttonbridge/thecourse.php  the course used to be docks for boats

Definitely a curio and unique place. Even as a quick stop over - you won't believe it until you see it.

Tony,
Sorry to mess you around, but we’ve decided to definitely miss BUDA this year. Got a lot of other stuff on and we’re both pensioners now, don’t you know!  ;D
Hopefully this can open up a couple of spaces for the waiting list.
Will catch up with you soon.
Cheers,
M’n’Nx

Tony, thanks for organizing.  I can't in good faith sign up as I still long to see Old Minch, Kingston and Painswick.  Who knows, I might offer myself as a last minute sub if needed.  28 working days to retirement so things are a bit up in the air.   Also, thanks for calling attention to Sutton Bridge.  I don't see how any BUDA participant could pass it up.  I was mesmerized by the fly-overs.  This is right up Bogey's ally - I really dig its chili.

All the best,

Mike

All the best to all who attend and also to the organisers. Alas September already has a few other commitments that preclude me from attending.
The Hotchkin course at Woodhall Spa is terrific. Great work by the guys and gals from Renaissance in opening it up, bringing old bunkers, features and angles back into play. The Petwood is very acceptable as well.
To those less familiar with Lincolnshire roads watch out for big tractors towing farm machinery and for the 90 degree bends with deep ditches on both sides.

Enjoy.
