The 2021 auction for research on Batten disease begins March 15th.
For those not familiar, this is a rare brain disease affecting golf architect David Kahns twin daughters.
Since this is extremely rare, no pharmaceutical company has developed any time or resources to finding a cure. The Kahn family has been pursuing and financing research through various companies. 100% of the auction proceed helps pay for the research.
What is unique, is when a cure is found, all research will have been funded by the golf community.
This is arguably one of the biggest golf auctions ever assembled with close to 150 golf courses and golf experiences.
