Burnham has been watering fairways...they are still extremely brown and bouncy. There are probably some collection areas that should be GUR because they have turned to sand. I notice the greens are a mottled green/brown, but not overly fast and firmer than the courses I have been playing recently. All in all, its the best conditioned course I have played during this drought which is pleasing because I was very fearful of over watering when we bought a new irrigation system not that many years ago. In any case, I would have thought this is an excellent time to attack areas infested with poa.
