Next up isn't actually on a golf course.  But can you figure out exactly where it is?!

3:59 for Streamsong.   I don't know where it was taken but it was either taken as a part of surveillance, sniper position or a peeping tom

Not Walden Pond.  Grin.

But rather about 1/4 mile away from the 15th green at Merion East.

Pretty sure I know the venue, while the place is not very Green the sand is very white so it looks like a recent retrovation, Sir.

Mike is on it!

That puzzle solves to this picture below, the new par 3 12th hole at the Naval Academy golf course, a William Flynn design that fully reopened not long ago after extensive work by Andrew Green.

This reverse-Redan inspired par 3 plays 250 yards and can be stretched out to +300!

This is a view of the green from the 13th tee, looking back up the hill:

Here are three more pics of the hole:

After a hiatus I present a different version of puzzle solving.  Solve the hole-sequencing, then smile at the unusual nature of it.  Then can you name the course?!

Guess I know who the high handicapper is in this group: 15:31! Not sure I’ve played that course. I might remember the odd sequence from 13-18 and the walk from 15-16.

It is real easy to fly under the radar when you are a course in the Golf Association of Philadelphia!  Note that GAP covers a large area and Berwick is over 2h from Billy Penn's hat!

Berwick opened in 1920 as a 9-hole course designed by Frank Meehan, a Philadelphian best known as the "father of junior golf" for our area.  I forget when the second 9 holes was added.

The terrain at Berwick is quite good and the conditioning to match.  Their bent grass fairways were in great shape.  And this place does not have a large budget.  In fact, they are noted in how often members volunteer their time to help out when needed.

A really good write-up by Tony Regina of GAP for their recent centennial is here:

https://gapgolf.org/berwicks-centennial/

You can check out a hole-by-hole tour at this link (in particular check out the par 5 4th hole with a huge volcano green that will make you smile):
