Bozeman, MT New

Let's say you had to catch a flight out of town at 3:30pm.  Where would be a good place to play that morning?

Thank you in advance.

UPDATE - we're playing Black Bull

Rock Creek.

I did it...with time to spare.

(Or, if you can get access, Yellowstone Club, Spanish Peaks are good too)

Correct me if I'm wrong but the caveat "if you can get access” should also be applied to Rock Creek right?

Rock Creek? Seriously? It's gonna be close to 2hrs. each way...and the round of golf if you walk will be at least 3 hours...probably more.

We're already playing RCCC and we have to get back to Bozeman the night before the flight.   This is one last round before hitting the road.

Old works for public access, Black Bull just west of Bozeman (5 Miles).  Black Bull is a Weiskopf private that has had its share of financial difficulty...few houses and a decent track and CLOSE to bozeman.

Old Works is worth the play, it was in great shape last year.  Only fescue fairways in MT, I think...

We're also playing Old Works on the way out to RCCC.

Sorry, I should have said RCCC and OW are already in the mix.

I'll look into Black Bull.  Any others?

If you can get on to Black Bull it's ten minutes from the airport and a pretty good Weiskopf design. Also cottonwood hills about five minutes from there. Owned and built by a great family. The Quick family does a great job and the course has some fun holes and quick greens. Great views and the course is always in good shape. These both would put you within fifteen minutes of the airport

If you were flying out of Missoula you would have some better options.

We're flying from Akron/Canton to Bozeman with a stop in Denver.  All the other landing options in Montana were $300+ more.

Jawbone Creek Country Club is a mere 100 miles or so away. About an hour at historical MT driving speeds.
