See page 16 for what I think is an interesting article about a restoration of Ross's Wilmington, NC Municipal course.  Five to ten years ago the Donald Ross Society contributed some money toward bunker restoration, if my memory serves me.  http://www.carolinasgolf.org/images/CarolinasGolf/site/carolinasgolf/Fall2014/CarolinasGolf_Fall_2014.pdf

I too would like to check out this course. I think that there was a previous thread as to whom paid for the bunker renovations….
