I don't have a photo, but isn't there a slave cemetery at The Heritage on Pawley's Island?

Does the hotel not count because it's actually a golf feature on the Road Hole?

1) The alignement of concrete cubes left of the first few holes at Lundin Links... protecting from a possible tank invasion by the nazis.

2) The cemetery and school yard along the left of the 9th at Tarbat Golf Club. Actually, with the wind coming from the water, you might have to play over the graveyard to reach the fairway.

3) The cavern on the path leading to the 15th hole at Crail

                  The lava tubes on one of the par 3's at Pronghorn (Fazio)...

                  All the old road race remnants at The Bridge..

That's more than a lookout hut.... its a good old fashioned pillbox bunker.

Virtually indestructible in its day from a distance, and with massive gun turrets it could unleash a massive amount of carnage/damage to the enemy. But alas very vulnerable to flame throwers and hand grenades if the enemy got close.

Good thing the Germans never got that close...

I'm sure scattered throughout England there are probably quite a few remnants left of old RAF bases, since some of them used golf course fairways as runways early on during the Battle of Britain.
