It is a good course, and well worth a visit. But not perhaps a very good course: to me, Huntercombe (say) is a very good course. But a 3 may be a bit harsh, as are (on reflection) lots of my assessments. Open championship qualifying has been held on the Wandlebury course of the Gogs, to which I have likewise given a 3. I think I stick by my ranking of these as a tentet amongst themselves, but wouldn't necessarily back my numbers externally, if that makes sense. Most importantly, I enjoyed myself at all of them!
