It's fun, land has some good movement in spots.  Played there in February.  You get some pew action in Michigan on the 1st hole....  I forgot Flint GC.  Monroe and Flint were a pleasure the 2nd time around.  Ross and WPJ!

Good to hear from you.


Sand Valley was excellent. We played it in hot weather and no wind. It is surprisingly mature. If anybody lives in a reasonable drive they should go and play it. I feel if you go once you would return. The facilities are outstanding. It is a real destination in the making. I traveled a long way to play there and it was well worth it.

My very last 2 rounds were at August National, then off to back surgery twice, never to play again

Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta
