Isn't this supposed to be your last 10 courses, and not your last 10 rounds? Otherwise many of us would look something like this:Kingsley (x10)The original point of the exercise was to show that many here play unheralded, perhaps pedestrian courses for their bread and butter games. Of course now many who do feel intimidated by the fancy lists posted, so I'm not sure what's really being accomplished accept to see who just came back from a great trip...

Andrew,What did you think of Quail Crossing?
Quote from: Jud T on July 21, 2013, 09:18:32 AMAndrew,What did you think of Quail Crossing?Jud -It really liked it, although I played it by accident -- my in-laws' club was closed for an event so my father-in-law booked what he described as "a decent course in a housing development, but one that permits walking."After the first few holes, I had become curious about the architect and, upon flipping over the card, confirmed my suspicion that I was in fact "on a Doak."Good variety of shots (short, long, uphill, downhill, bending left, bending right) and green sites, flowing land and turf firm enough to hit running approaches on several holes. The bucolic look and feel of the land, and the resulting fit of the holes onto said land, reminded me of both Beechtree and High Pointe -- in a very good way.Net net, a very enjoyable course with nice greens, and a tremendous value with a walking rate of $32/round on weekends and $22/round on weekdays.Cheers, Andrew

Golf is good...always!
That is a pretty good summation of Quail. Its fun to play, good greens. Worth a look if you are in town for another reason.Andrew, were you going to play Rolling Hills? I like playing Quail better, but my buddy Marc swears by RH.
