Sharp eye. On our first trip about five years ago, Old Mac is the course that my wife did not enjoy (the size of the greens). We played Pac Dunes twice instead on this trip. That decision was also a function of my not thinking that I gave it a fulsome appreciation on our first trip because (a) my expectations were so high and (b) I found BT so compelling.

PS My view of Old Mac is reflected in the fact that I had three holes in my very subjective Bandon Eclectic even though I had only one play several years ago.

Mike-It’s a big scale property with a great mix of holes. Combine some unique natural landforms with a masterful set of Ross greens and you have a truly compelling play. Recent restoration work has made what was already a good/great course even better. I’ll be interested in your thoughts after you get a trip around.
