I'm sure that members of the Master's Committee's monitor this website and they would deem the language found in this topic unacceptable.

In the tradition of the Masters, no potential patron has been "denied" or "reee - - jected" for practice round tickets, it is as simple as "Your application was not selected for 2012 Masters Practice Round tickets."

Doesn't that make you feel better?

Boy do I feel foolish. I saw everyone here getting their denials- and I hadn't got an email. I let myself think, "well, maybe....". Just got denied. Serves me right for my avarice.

Judging from the responses here I guess I got lucky, received four Tuesday tickets.  I'll be following Rory....

Time to try again for 2013...

https://tickets.masters.com/en_US/index.html

Denied again for 2013 as well...

I logged into my account and my application appears to still be pending - no approved tickets and no rejection.
Anyone else have the same issue?

Denied.  I have been applying since about 2000 and I have never been selected.  Are the odds really that bad or I am just terribly unlucky?

I'm not convinced they're truly regretful.

I'm almost convinced they announced available tickets for PR purposes and just send everyone a rejection. Nobody has reported getting any; including me - checked today.

Just received my annual "regret your application was not selected" email for next year's practice rounds...I know this data set it relatively small - but has anyone on GCA ever been selected?

I was rejected 3 times over for Practice round tickets.  I keep applying for 1 on Monday with no luck!  I blame the fact that they went to online applications.  When you had to actually mail something in the pool of applicants was probably a lot smaller.

I was, too ... until this morning when my message was "Congratulations"!

I have April plans now. (Got 4 tickets for Tuesday practice round.)

Denied as to both this year.

Looks like same as last year.  All of GCA denied for tournament badges, 1 person hit on practice rounds.

Congrats to our winner :)

Denied here as well for both practice and tournament rounds.  I can't be disappointed though.  It is a LOTTERY after all.  So if I get lucky, I get lucky.  If not, it didn't cost me a dime.  I'll just keep trying. . . .

We won't be needing a Mythbuster's episode to prove that guys who post about golf on the Internet are a bunch of losers. Obviously it is easier to become a Golfweek rater. Coincidence?
