I'm a very lucky dude.  I've made three trips to Canada for golf and played five of the top 19.   Cabot Links, Capilano, Highland Links, Sagebrush and Victoria are as good and as much fun as almost anything I've ever played, and not sure why Royal Colwood isn't in the top 30. 

And I gotta say, when people say Cabot Cliffs will be the reason they go to Cape Breton Island, they don't understand what a great course Cabot Links is.  It's my favorite new course since Pacific Dunes opened.   Rod Whitman is an authentic genius based on the Links and Sagebrush.   I know Cabot Cliffs will be terrific, but Cabot Links is worth a trip on its own, especially when you can add on a visit to Highland Links.

Toronto Golf seems substantially under-rated.  For me, the routing and consistency of holes and green complexes puts Mississaugua to shame, for example.   National, like most difficult golf courses, is well over-rated by Golf Digest.  I would play Toronto 9 out of 10 over National.

It is interesting to see Victoria GC move into the upper rung. I suspect that the work of Jeff Mingay has a lot to do with that.

Finally, Mad River cracks a list, too good to keep down.
As good as Cabot Links will be, IMHO it isn't top 25.  it will become top 5.
