Pinehurst #1 is just a throwback of a treat to play, especially after one gets manhandled on #2.

Well, I think Bandon Crossings is a good second course but I can't give up playing any of the four at the resort to play it.

Is the Home Course, WA,  a "second course" to Chambers Bay? Should we play it or just let it be?

I'd quite clearly agree with this... a couple of the best holes on the property: The 2nd (which was part of the Old Course until 1971) and the fantastic 6th.... Also has the one hole that is inarguably amongst the biggest dunes on the site -The short par-4 4th...

I'll second the East at Winged Foot it is quite good.....there is a little course at Merion that is way cool with some unique architecture
