Chris,
there's a stack of previous threads telling how to post pics.
The crux is you need to have it hosted somewhere on the web (Picasa, Photobucket, etc) and then to post the link to the [img] tag.
Hope that helps!
cheers,
MB.

It's the closing hole at St. Andrews, in 1811 before invention of the camera.

Itís one of those Eureka moments, or to be more precise a Senior Moment (caused by the effect of old age - you forgot to include the Flashing photo).

Has anyone used question marks for flags, before?

Once the picture is on the web, copy and paste the addy onto the post. Using brackets, of this type [  ] . Before the addy put the letters img inside a set of brackets (No spaces) at the end of the addy bracket the letters img again but before the I and after the first bracket[ use a backslash / .

Make sure there are no spaces. In the following example I will use spaces so you can see what it should look like. [ img ] address of photo [ / img ]

Once again, no spaces from the first bracket to the last.

We love quizes like this.

It seems there are some things about the site that are not working any more. The preview of a post doesn't work for me anymore. The attachment of photos hasn't worked for several people recently. The old method using img notation still works.

Great thread, love the in depth details some have go to in responding to your blinding commitment to detail.  Itís a pleasure in being able to chip in on threads like this knowing that all are following your lead and blindly going where no thread has gone before.

Still struggling with fully understanding your point but I believe an image is starting to materialise, ops no itís gone again. If only golf was as difficult as posting a picture, but then we must be thankful, could have been a picture of an  island greens.

PS Just got to love that photo, really a great picture.

How come a lot of the profile pics no longer show up?

It certainly shows what can happen when you allow a super to cut down the trees...

Adam:

Not that I know of but on that Ardrossan project I did design a multi-optional fairway in the shape of a question mark and since it was below the tees it was completely visible from them.
