There are a tremendous number of off-set tees at Emmet's Salisbury. Very cool.

Looks like a very good course. Does it still exist?

I believe this is now Cherry Valley, but nothing is left of the original Emmet design.

For those familiar with Essex County (MA), how much of this old routing, if any, exists on today's course?

Compliments of Tom MacWood, I believe, here is the Crump/Colt "blue/red" working topo map of Pine Valley.

Ran & Ben,

This thread should be archived or put in another section for preservation and referencing.

As to the RED - BLUE topo, here it is.

Does anyone have the maps, diagrams or early aerials of Westhampton.

Joe Bausch,

Why do certain posted photos expire ?

Pat, the images which no longer appear are those that were posted using gca.com's server rather than via an external hosting website like photbucket, flickr, etc.  The lost images disappeared about a year ago.  This is an issue not only on this thread, but also on every other thread where photos were posted using the website's server.  As for the Westhampton diagrams, they originally came from Tom MacWood.  I assume he still has them.  Perhaps he can repost them or send to me and I will do so for him.

Ed Oden,

Tom MacWood was kind enough to supply me with the schematic for Westhampton.

I don't know how to post those things on GCA.com, so perhaps he can post it on this thread.

This thread should be incorporated into one of the other categories such that it can be accessed for the routing maps, plans and drawings.

Thanks for starting a very informative thread.

Pat and Tom and others (including moi for those jgp's in this thread from me no longer displaying!):

Use tinypic.com to host your jpgs.  It is free and I don't think it even requires an account!

Edit:  obviously tinypic stopped working for me!
