Macan's plan for Fircrest GC in Tacoma was posted earlier in the thread.  I'm including it below to contrast with the plan previously developed by Bob Johnstone.

A don't have a routing map but I am earnestly searching for one. In the summer of 1900 the Northward-Ho! Golf Club was formed at the Mount Kineo Golf Course on Moosehead Lake in Maine. In 1902 a new course laid out by Alex Findlay opened and a booklet titled Golf at Kineo was published. The booklet, written by Club Secretary and author Herbert L. Jillson, describes both the club and the golf course; it is the most complete description of a course and how to play it that I have ever seen from the time period.

A routing map accompanied the booklet as a separate document. I was able to acquire a copy of the booklet from a local museum. but not the routing map. Searches at other museums, historical societies, the Maine Golf Association, etc. have been fruitless. If anyone has, or can lead me to, the routing map, please post that wonderful news here.

I'm fascinated by the original Langford/Moreau course at Happy Hollow in Omaha that, for all intents and purposes, is NLE. I did as much research as I could in writing about it here, but this is the best routing and only info I could find that shows the original 27 holes before the east nine were lost to flooding.
