They may not be my images, but Ran rolled out some damn fine reviews in 2009.

Clear Creek Tahoe
Cal Club
& Eastward Ho

fabulous stuff.....

The Grand Hotel – later known as Hamilton Hall was opened in 1895. So hence why the early photos do not show it.

This year produced far too many from which to choose... but here are a few favorites that immediately came to mind.

Cruden Bay

The Old Course

The Castle Course

The Road Hole

Pebble Beach

After some thought, I think this one is my favorite from 2009.  Giles Payne at Sandwich.

With Nick Leefe looking on in amusement!

So how did Giles' shot turn out?

Yes, the first three are. The rest are of Red Hill.

Mark, answering for David - the first is #15, par 5 up to the clubhouse, next is #17, followed by #14 with #1 in the background.  Don't know the remainder, but not Valley Club.

David,

Is that the M.A.S.H. landing site in the background of the first picture behind that tall drink of water?

I've been told that it is mountain range that the helicopters are flying over in the openinng credits. The ground is where Errol Flynn's Robin Hood was filmed.

Here are a couple that I like from very recent rounds this fall:

I like the contrast of the 18th hole at Atlantic City CC and the casino/hotels in the background:

Here is the 12th at White Manor, a neat par 3 of about 190 yards:

This is actually three pictures but they are my favorite.  Before, during and after Carolina Golf Club's renovation (13th hole)...

Joe - Great shot at White Manor. Do you know the yardage on that hole? I recall it playing plenty long the times I've played there. -Dan

Dan, I've modified that post above as that par 3 isn't 'little'.  It plays around 190 yards from the back tee.

My shot from the 4th at ACCC isn't quite the same, but similar (did you photoshop some of that photo?):

Joe,

With all due respect, can you please tell me what part of the image you think I "photoshopped".

Aidan.
