Sean,

No, not when you think about where else a trip of that distance gets you.  Denham and Beaconsfield would fall into the "definitely worth a play if in the area" category, I'd say.

In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

Duh!  For a long time I've been praising Colt when all along I meant to say Park (but didn't know it!)

Temple. Notts. That's good enough for me.

Thanks for bumping this, Giovanni.

I had the good fortune to play Temple after a several year lay-off.  To be honest, I forgot how much I like the straight forward use of the many hard slopes.  They are at times unforgiving, but always entertaining.  Please see the considerably updated tour.

Good to hear you say how dry the course played, especially given the amount of rain we've had recently. Was your visit pre/post-Ciara/Dennis?
There seem to be quite a number of benched/cut-n-fill style greens. Were the greens dry too (as at some inland courses such styles of greens can be a bit pudding like)?

We played post storm. Temple was a fill in for closed Tandridge.

The greens weren't dry, but very playable. Drier than East Devon.
