History of Minneapolis Golf Club

The Minneapolis Golf Club has made their 100th anniversary history book available as a Kindle download for just $2.99. I wrote the book for them in 2016, but I won't share in any of the download profits. I just wanted to let the historians on this site know that the privately published book is now available to anyone who wants a copy, for a very reasonable price. It contains a lot of cool photos and little-known facts and stories about the Willie Park-William D. Clark-Donald Ross golf course. My favorite parts to research and write were the in-depth accounts of the 1940 Western Amateur, 1950 U.S. Amateur and 1959 PGA Championship, all played on what was then considered Minnesota's most championship-worthy golf course.  https://www.amazon.com/Minneapolis-Golf-Club-Celebrating-Tradition-ebook/dp/B07694N115/ref=sr_1_9?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1527628079&sr=1-9

Very neat, Rick. Thanks for the heads up. I've just purchased.
