Thanks for the insight into the property world. Just shows what crap gets put in the papers, the Herald - Sun already had us on the 1st at the new course. Wouldn't mind being a fly on the wall at the meeting though.

Neither Tom nor I were involved at the Sunday meeting.
Interestingly only parts of my requested comments were read to the members.
The part where I said I thought it would be difficult to reproduce a course of similar quality was not read.
Fortunatly a member had a copy of the whole statement and the members got to hear what I thought.

The best suggestion I heard was for the developer to build the course and the members can then decide if they like it or not.
Fat chance of that and you can bet there wouldn't be an unlimited budget then.
