I belong to a club with a reasonably interesting William Diddle designed golf course.  Can anyone provide any information about this architect.  Thanks in advance.

I've heard he designed a course in Dallas called Northpark (I believe) where they held a US Open which has been called the worst Open ever, other than that any help will be greatly appreciated.

He lived in the Indianapolis area and did a huge number of courses in the Midwest.  I've played several of the ones in Indy.  I'm sure there's some information about him.  I know of one person who sometimes posts on here that has researched his career very well.  Ron Kern has some info about Diddel at his website.

Do a Google.com search for "William Diddle golf," and you'll find enough stuff to keep you Diddling away for the rest of the day.

Google & Diddle: great name for a law firm.

Northpark is the shopping center in Dallas, Northwood (B. Diddel-1948) is where they had the Open.
