Wayne,

Just ran through that list again, not thinking clearly tonight.  Played 8 originals(hvcc, plymouth, green valley, mannys, rolling green, atlantic city philly country, indian spring(sadly NLE but underrated)
played 5 re-designed(whitemarsh valley, philmont, philly cricket, north hills, merion east)
and walked studied Naval Academy, Shinny, Lancaster.

total of 16.... more reason to purchase that Book! :D

Wow - a big 0 - never knew that. I played a few in the Philly area years ago when I had a good friend there, but none are on the list.

Hope this list was generated as a final to do list item before the publishers started the printing the first editions.

Too much to ask for??

Wayne,

I've played 1 original design, 1 renovation and walked another original design.

They made me wish I could have played many more of his.

Well, well, well...I think I told you once that I had never played a Flynn.  I have played Pine Meadow many times.

I'm not at 100% yet of the existing courses.  But soon, I hope. I've played and studied 37 designs, 17 redesigns and the 2 constructions.

Yes, John K.  You did tell me that you never played a Flynn.  If it wasn't for this site in general and David Schmidt, Dan Moore and Joe Jemsek in particular, we wouldn't have known about it.  Of course, the traces of Flynn are difficult to discern.

Pete,

Ah, it may only be 1 course, but I think it is a wonderful club and excellent course.  I'm thrilled the collection of Flynn drawings and Hugh Wilson letters confirm the design as Flynn (although Wilson probably helped a great deal at the outset).

Ash,

You were on the west coast this year, right?  Next time I hope you'll make your way to the east coast.  It is further away, but worth the extra mileage!

Peter, John, David, etc,

I hope the numbers increase steadily over the years.

Joe,

I hope next time you'll visit you will have time to do more than view a few of our golf treasures and that I won't be out of town.

Michael H,

I whole-heartedly agree.  Shinnecock Hills is my favorite course in America, perhaps the world (that I've seen at any rate).

I've played Pine Meadow numerous times and the best holes (e.g. 3 and 15) are those that were in the original Flynn routing.  Several others are high on my must play soon list.

Wayne, I have played 11.  Beaver Dam Golf Club:  1927 AKA Prince Georges Country Club  (NLE) are predecessor clubs to my present club: The County Club at Woodmore.  The club always names Donald Ross as the designer.  From what I gather, Flynn made a great many changes but is he to be considered the primary designer?

Big zero for me.  Maybe if I move out east (again) ill be more diligent about getting on one.
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Played one redesign where my dad is a member (Denver CC) countless times

Walked one original several times (Cherry Hills CC)

Not necessarily an asset growing up in the west. Now im in PA though, maybe a few more.

Wayne,

15 original designs, 8 re-do's.

There's a lot of other "need to do's" I'm seeing there as well.  ;D

I've played 3 Lehigh, Manufacturers and Rolling Green.  Pine Valley too but I wouldn't count that as a Flynn.
