Re:Why is it that the best moments in golf always occur near sunset?

I could quibble and accuse you of making a blanket statement. In practical reality, most golf tournaments finish at the end of the day, and we tend to think of great moments as defining ones. And DLIII won his major in front of a rainbow...not a sunset.

But, color shades memories, and many of mine, as well.
As such, I will always savor the 45th hole of a day, played well, with a buddy in the Arizona desert. We had the place to ourselves...long, orange shadows, warm, still air, and jackrabbits reclaiming the fairways.

It is certainly one rendition of heaven on Eath.
