Neither is great but I’d go with the Fidra. The first 12 holes, routed through the trees are at least different from the rest of the courses along the East Lothian coast. The Dirleton just feels like a poor imitation of a links.

Neither are offensive and as Michael says there some good holes out there but there are so many better courses to play in the area unless you are spending the best part of the year in the area I would look elsewhere. Nice clubhouse though if you are getting married ;D
