All of social media is like that. I have been hit up by Instagram followers for all sorts of golf requests. Someone even asked if I could get them on Cypress Point. My response was that I could, but . . . no.

Asking normal folks to act demure to a system that isn’t welcoming to them is honestly a bit unfair. The only blowback they would ever get is a “no” and maybe some tightly clutched pearls.

And, it will always be Twitter. No matter what some braying donkey decides to rebrand it. I'm good on Twitter, decent on Instagram, learning Threads, and do the Facebook for the Olds.
