Title: Brian Zager: Gamer and Golf Designer
Post by: Ronald Montesano on March 06, 2023, 01:58:39 PM
Brian Zager, like Peter Flory, helps Tom Doak to design golf courses. I have a link to an interview I did with him that just went live. If you are interested in reading it, send me a DM.

Zager was at Lido in Wisconsin, and continues to assist Tom with other projects. It's neat to learn how the digital and dirt worlds interface and collaborate.

We can’t DM because I blocked you. Please just post a link.

I'm glad that you are a plural "we" these days. It is very elegant.

You have the power to unblock me. You are Gillette Silver, after all.

No link outside of DM.

I said something clever at dinner the other night. Too bad if you weren’t there. DM me and I’ll tell you.

Get over yourself and post the link. The dude deserves it.

Instead of waiting for the bell to start Round 3, I will point out that you only have to Google "Brian Zager Buffalo Golfer" and presto, the link comes right up.

It's a nice interview.  I sometimes worry about these when they come so early in someone's career, but Brian seemed to handle his responses very well . . . of course, he is not 23, so he's a bit more grounded.

Insightful and educational. Thanks Ron and Brian. Where will the future take things?

So much for that prize fight. I hate those TDKOs.

I give credit to a guy who has the huevos to admit that he has blocked you, but won't unblock you, yet still wants something from you. MySpace doesn't have a search engine; that's what was causing his concerns.

I was also impressed with the responses. Some subjects have given minimalistic answers, in a bad way. Brian really pored over his possibilities, and turned out some of the best ones I've had the fortune to receive. I'm glad that it adds something to what we love.

A couple of portraits of Brian in his workplaces.

Cross country with Peter Flory to the Lido 9th green. Brian with the motocart.
