Title: Dunedin Golf Club Renovation
Post by: Rob Marshall on January 31, 2023, 08:03:36 AM
From a friend of mine who is a member at Dunedin:

"The plans are complete, the town agreed to $4m and the Donald Ross society is putting in $500k. Work starts 3/24, course will close for 8 months. They have already started clearing areas for new tee boxes and removing trees.
They are going to add 60-80 bunkers, and drop all the greens 2'.
This will be an amazing course when completed."

That is fantastic news.  Can't wait to see the finished product.

Rob, the Donald Ross Society is not contributing to the project.  The DRS Foundation assisted with the development of the initial MP.

We are currently working with the city and also receiving community input.  Still a few things to work out but we are planning to put the project out to bid Sept 2023 with a start date 2/2024.
