Soundbite Doak is hilarious.

Congratulations Tom. I’m a big fan of Castle Stuart but felt compelled to post that the nearby Culloden battlefield must not be missed. Far more stirring than any golf course I’ve played. Excellent visitor center, short film and walking audio.
Pardon the OT.

Well done to Tom and Clyde. Interesting comment from Tom in the press release. I must have missed the hilarious bit as it all sounded very positive.

Great news. This makes much more sense than previous plans for the site. Cant wait to return.

Great news. Makes trips to RD with more options during the trip. Can't wait in addition to see if the Coul project happens.

Sounds interesting. Well done Tom and Clyde.

Soundbite Doak is hilarious.
Nothing hilarious about this:
“So instead of creating big artificial dunes to focus views and such, we’ll focus on building smaller, rippling contours as are found on links courses the world over, plus a dynamic bunkering scheme.”
Sounds exactly like the right approach.
-
“Oddly, that might free us up to build something compelling.”
That’s funny on many levels.

Clyde was a recipient of a Walter J. Travis Society scholarship, and we of the society are most proud of his accomplishments and achievements in the field.
