We often discuss courses that have gone through extensive tree removal/management programs, and generally it is always discussed as a positive initiative.
I was wondering if there are any courses where you think tree removal/management programs did not improve the course, or, worse, make the course less appealing.
Thanks :)

It sounds like Mother Nature just did some tree removal at Springfield CC in Ohio - From Bethpage Black Metal's twitter feed:
Coming off hosting U.S. Open sectionals, Springfield CC reportedly experienced a tornado touchdown last night. The club's super reports that many trees down, but greens and sprinkler mains unharmed. A migraine headache to be sure, but true disaster avoided.

There’s a particular area on the Adare course in Ireland that I think misses the trees that were removed in the Fazio re-do.
On balance though, the tree removal over the whole course has most likely improved it.
