Post by: Mark_Fine on January 15, 2018, 08:33:20 AM
I am looking for an aerial as old as possible for Cypress Point!  Can anyone here assist?  It would be much appreciated and I would of course mention your help and assistance.  You can reach me at   mkfine@finegolfdesign.com

Have you checked Historic Aerials.com?  Some areas go back to 1938, most only to the 1950's.

No luck with them so far.  The National Archives is always a good sources for me and hopefully we will find something there.  Figured someone on here might be able to help as well.

Try CalTRANS.

They may have flown an aerial survey of the area.

You could try the UC Santa Barbara web site.  They have a couple of decent aerials from 1945.  Just drag the map to Monterey peninsula and then click on the red dots ove rCypress Point on the map.
