Title: The social media tour of Cabot Cliffs
Post by: Guy Nicholson on October 19, 2014, 03:19:42 PM: Ben Cowan-Dewar and his crew have been doing outstanding work at Cabot Links and now Cabot Cliffs in Nova Scotia, and they have an intuitive business grasp of the fact that if you do outstanding things, people will talk about them. Combine that with the power of modern social media, and it becomes possible to view almost every hole of the resort's second course despite the fact that it won't be fully open for public play for a year and a half.

Like a lot of people, I've been watching the Cliffs porn trickle out, but even though I'd seen parts of the property on a couple of occasions before grassing, I was finding it hard to put the new photos that look like real golf holes in sequence. So I started collecting links to tweets, photos and reports to put it all in sequential context.

The season's almost over, and there won't be many more updates out of Cape Breton till spring, so the time seems right. Enjoy.
