Who did the email come from? I wonder if this is standard protocol to let people know they did not get them? The e-mail comes from the folks at the Masters web site. In the e-mail they provide you with a link to a page on that web site that requires a log in using the same log in created to submit your request.
denied--I wonder what the odds were?
DENIED. Object and strenously object. Move to reconsider.
Time to try again for 2013...

Denied again for 2013 as well...
"WE REGRET... Your application was not selected for 2013 Masters Daily Tournament tickets."
I'm almost convinced they announced available tickets for PR purposes and just send everyone a rejection. Nobody has reported getting any; including me - checked today.

I was, too ... until this morning when my message was "Congratulations"!
I have April plans now. (Got 4 tickets for Tuesday practice round.)
Denied as to both this year.
Looks like same as last year. All of GCA denied for tournament badges, 1 person hit on practice rounds.
Congrats to our winner :)

We have completed the random selection process for 2014 Daily Tournament tickets and regret to inform you that your application was not selected for tickets.
Does anyone know if you increase your odds by asking for fewer tickets?
None for me... one year...

Remember - only one entry per family :)
BTW: They allow PGA members in with identification but they cannot bring anyone else in with them without a ticket.

I thought they got 1 guest? A PGA member asked me to go about 10 years ago saying he got 1 guest.

No PGA guests
nor have they ever allowed them....

the Director of Golf at my club said many years ago they allowed PGA members to bring guests in with them - might have been 30 years ago.The guy I work with took his wife under his PGA card several times. That was a long time ago, though. I plan to go with my PGA card next year. Hopefully.
Do they still send emails if you come up empty? I registered years ago and I don't ever remember receiving an email. I checked today and I still do have an account with my correct email.I've gotten an email every year.
Should I be making hotel reservations now?Yes.
I plan to go next year as a PGA member… I just have to figure out how to get my daughter in as well. Kids get in free, but only with TICKET holders. Using your PGA membership to get in doesn't make you a TICKET holder. :P
I know they/re cracking down on tournament badges for Thurs-Sun rounds....
But can you still buy practice round tickets fairly easy on the secondary market, even if not cheaply?
