Title: Cypress Point plans
Post by: Tom MacWood on March 08, 2010, 06:29:31 AM
A few years ago there was a golf architect out of Australia who claimed he had seen or found Raynor's CPC plans. Did anything ever come of it?

I am embarrassed to say that I forget his name (Cashmore?), but he suggested in an article that he had them. He responded to a thread here at the time and said that he did not have them. As I recall he said that as late as the 1960's someone told him they had the plans. But but I don't recall the specifics of who that was nor whether Cashmore (?) had actually laid eyes on the plans. My sense was that there was a bit of careless writing involved. Perhaps other will remember events more clearly.

Tom,

A few older posts which talk about it. The last one has the Tony Cashmore quote dug up by Neil Regan.
