West Wales - Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire coast

Many herein will have heard of or be familiar with the fine links course at Tenby in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Some might know of the clifftop/links 9-holer at St David's City of which I did a photo-tour herein a few years back.
There's also another links/coastal course in Pembrokeshire. Newport Links. Originally a 9-hole links by James Braid it now has a further 9-holes added a few years ago on a hillside. The original Braid-9 is traditional links, the new-9, is um, well, ex-farmers fields. The location however is stunning and the town of Newport is a cracking wee place.
Here are a couple of photos to give an inkling of what the Braid-9 and the location are like.
Over the county border in Cardiganshire there's a very fine 18-hole clifftop/links at Cardigan GC. Windy, sandy soil, humps and hollows galore, sidehill stances, narrow, lots of gorse, evil/wonderful green complexes, spectacular views over the River Teifi estuary. In short very much worth playing. The first 10 or so holes are very fine whilst the last 5 are excellent.
Both Tony Muldoon and Ed Tilley have done photo-tours of the course herein although both tours now suffer from 'Photoshop disease'.
Here are a couple of photos to give a flavour of the course including the worlds best flag fluttering outside the Clubhouse.
About half a mile from Cardigan GC is the Cliffs Hotel. It has a pretty undistinguished not in great condition 9-hole course in its grounds. However, 3 of the greensites are to die for.
Here are some photos.
What potential! Oh what could be!
