Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Be curious to know how much elevation change there is -- and since cart paths are a major element when playing there what is the longest ride between holes ?

Has the recent news of the developer filing for bankruptcy affected this or any of the other courses?  I hope not because the course looks good and we need all the good golf we can get in this area.

Why are cart paths on Dye courses often so obnoxiously in your face?

Maybe it is just the photos - but they remind me a lot of French Lick.

Makes it hard to focus on anything else.

Note - Based on the terrain, I am not saying that there should be NO cart paths - just wonder if they could have been concealed or "blended" better?

In the "whatever happened to" file, this course was not finished and did not open.  Developer acquitted of criminal charges apparently, but $26 million of lot sales proceeds and $14 million of bank financing went down the drain - or perhaps elsewhere.   What a pity.

Perhaps Eric Smith bought some bank OREO.

It looks like one of those courses that should never have been built with all the dirt and rock that had to be moved.

Or it could have been the right project at the wrong time. It is easy to sit back say projects that failed circa 2008-2010 "should not have been built" however at the time they were drawn up they were deemed quite feasible.
