In My Opinion Another Take on a World Top 100 Ranking by Matthew Hunt May, 2007 Please note: this is not a GolfClubAtlas.com ranking. I conducted the world ranking below because many of the people that post within the GolfClubAtlas Discussion Group criticize Golf Digest’s rankings. Because the GolfClubAtlas.com posters are more “educated” than the general golfing public, I thought we would get a very interesting list. The final outcome below shows that we did. Interested registered posters within the Discussion Group conducted our own rankings. The method chosen was that everyone picked their favorite 12 courses in the world in order. Though no system is perfect, it gave a general outline as to what those posters that participated thought were the best courses in the world. Points were awarded as follows:

The Rankings originally were scheduled for 20th of December 2006. However, due to the massive volume of responses and the surprising amount of time required to correlate the results, it took many months for the list to be published.
