Love the emphasis on 'hard and fast' and that you won't lose golf balls...hopefully he gets it!

Do you ever wonder if Eddie Bauer "gets it" when he talks about his Ford Expeditions? ;D ;D   no difference...

Has he completely changed the routing of the original Blaketree National or has he kept a few of the holes in place?

Quite a few hole corridors are the same.

I like his general principles, and obviously will need to play a few of his courses to make a fair assessment, but they almost look boring to me.  I hope I am wrong.

 8)   Tiger's Redesign should be the thread title...
I weighed in on draft routing things in a previous thread... I'll look for it and note link later.

Only a handfull or so of new holes, some repurposed, some of the old holes are actually reversed from the original Blaketree routing.
What's most distressing to me as i also said previously, is that one of the best old holes, the par 3 10th, a signature photo-op hole is still shown at their website link below, but doesn't appear to have made the cut in the new routing.  A real shame.

I was very impressed with what I saw in the video. The course is clearly very heavily influenced by ANGC, but Tiger's (apparent) insistence on width and F&F is such that it seems as though he is indirectly responsible for some of the recent ANGC changes (tree planting, in particular), and that he's subtly chiding them for it with this course.

Of course, some people will bash it just because it's fashionable to bash Tiger these days, but I think he and his design team might have a good result here.

Why is Tiger walking like such a freak at :08? What's with his hands turned sideways? No wonder his golf game sucks. He's even forgotten how to walk like a normal person.

A well traveled friend of mine has been to Bluejack and speaks very highly of it. So much so he is planning to go back for the opening later this year.
