Messrs. Lavin, Holland and I would like to share final details for the Tuesday 7th July event at Beverly, as noted below. 


The attendee list in the following post also has been updated, with pairings.


We look forward to seeing you all next week.

Event details:
  • 3pm CT shotgun start, followed by dinner.
  • Please arrive by 230pm at the latest and find Pat Walsh in the locker room; he will set you up.
  • (The over/under for Lavin, Holland and I to be ensconced in the men's card room is 1pm.)
  • Directions and other club info are available here.
Payment details:
  • Walkers -- Bring a check payable to cash for $160 to cover event fee and give said check to me.  Pay your caddie directly in cash.
  • Riders -- Bring a check payable to cash for $185 to cover event and cart fee and give said check to me.  Pay your forecaddie directly in cash.

I was at Beverly a few weeks ago and can tell you it is in excellent condition, well worth a visit.  Hope you draw a great group!

I can't make it this year, but had a great time last year. Golf course is great and the people are great.

It's also the home club of Blackhawks Captain Jonathan Toews. We will probably get a couple hours with the Cup if we get it done against the Lightning. Go Hawks!

Bumping this in honor of the Chicago GCA contingent, who presumably are all watching the Blackhawks trying to clinch the Stanley Cup at home for the first time in nearly 80 years.

We here in Wisconsin are also rooting for a Blackhawks win, as it will surely boost the local State Street tavern economy thanks to one certain Chicago forward; looking foward to his return: ;)

It is official.  Blackhawks win!!!  Will "the cup" be making an appearance on the putting green at putting green at Beverly?  ;D

Phil, not sure how productive that was to post that 2 1/2 to 3 year old "Deadspin" thread...  :-\  It doesn't flatter Madison, the Frat (which apparently at least had some frat boys try to expel PK to their credit) or the KK, whose managers also apparently took action to 10=86 him before he got worse.  Given PK's subsequent success the three years after these events , I'm hoping that he has matured and maybe curtailed his consumption.
