I think so. Remember his dad did the videos for the opening of the first course.

OMG.  That's an eyepopper if ever I saw one.  Reminds me of Cape Kidnappers.  Simply astounding.

In seeing the video and pictures of Cabot Cliffs, as well as the recent pictures of Cape Wickham, the vibrant greenness of the grass struck me. How long does it take for the greenness to wear off and look less new/more linksy?

Just booked my stay there for late August and already planning a return trip for next Spring. Being in NYC, Cabot is very convenient and looking to surely become an annual tradition for me.

Very simple. A 90 minute flight from NYC to Halifax, a few hours drive from there, and you're practically in Scotland! Cabot is definitely a gift to the Northeast.

Do folks think that the conditions at Cliffs will be good next summer (2016), or would it make sense to wait for another year of maturity (assuming I will only go once over the next few years)?

Thanks, Mark - I'll be checking flights - agree between Cabot and Streamsong golfers along the eastern seaboard are very fortunate.

Looks incredible.  My understanding is this summer Cliffs has limited play while next year the course will go through its grand opening.  Correct?

I believe that is correct.  I am going in July and when booking tee times it seems that there are a limited number of times at Cliffs.  So I am playing CL every monring at 7 and then playing CC mid afternoon.

If anyone is coming to Inverness this summer. They should shoot me a PM as I be here untill the end of August working. On a side note all of the bunkers on Cabot Links are receiving a face lift for the PGA of Canada tournament in June and I have never seen them look so nice.

I'll be at Cabot August 29 to September 1 or 2. Might just wind up being me and my non-golfing girlfriend, so definitely interested in meeting up with anyone who may be there at the same time.

Where is Cabot Cliffs in relation to Cabot Links? North East or South West? How close?

Just a short skip north up route 19, can't be more than a couple of KMs.

It is maybe 2km up the road from the main site of Cabot Links. If stairs were put up from the beach to the first tee at the Cliffs. It would maybe be a 15 to 20 min walk from the hotel.

And what - about 5-10 mins from the 16th green of CL which is the northernmost point of that course.

I will be in Cabot and playing July 9-11. Morning rounds at CL and afternoon at CC.
