The format is a gallimaufry. 2 person teams with handicaps over 45 holes. Friday evening we'll do a 9 hole elimination shoot out plus a smidgen of cross country golf. Maybe some basketball...Atari, Asteroids, and whatever else you guys like.

That's an absolute certainty with a few of the guys I know to be coming. We're all lucky there isn't a craps table.

sounds like a blast.   admittedly i was expecting 72 holes over 2 days from GCAers.

It'll add up to a lot of golf when taking into account the afternoon shootout, plus cross country golf. The fee allows for all day golf, so there really isn't a limit to how many holes you can play.

I know it is bad form to criticize the host.  But Eric, if you are going to take a video of that drive, I would recommend not to have 3 guys in a car listening to Meatloaf "2 out of 3 ain't bad" - uggghh.  

You have the ultimate golf club with everything that a real man may desire - great golf, ample supplies of alcohol, best football tv room around, huge campfire, my travelling craps table  - - - and guys listening to Meatloaf???

You cannot get much lower than Meatloaf so any of your choices will be better.

However, your inclusion of Taylor Swift after the first 5 is interesting.  I actually like her music and would welcome her at the 5th Major.  However, in gca terms, it is like saying your favorite courses are Dismal River, Sand Hills, Ballyneal, Prairie Dunes and . . . Trump National (pick one).  I enjoy playing the Trump courses (besides the obligatory waterfall) so it is not a problem, but something doesn't fit.
