Sunday golf at Atlantic City CC: wrap-up of 2nd annual event
« on: November 18, 2010, 10:04:59 AM »
I will be playing Atlantic City Country Club late Sunday morning with McKeever and a secret agent.  Looking for a 4th.  PM or IM for further info.  This time of year the rates are not even close to triple digits, like they are prime time in the summer.

I'm more than willing to make this a bigger gathering and grab two tee times (11:40 and 11:50 AM).  There are more than a handful of you GCAers in the Jersey area I've never met and this would be a great time for it.

I now have two tee times late in the morning (11:40 and 11:50 AM).  Now more room for players.  Please respond.   :)

Here's the view from the first tee:

And note that you're teeing off of the putting green on hole 1!

Looks great, the more I read about the course and see photos the more mental notes I make to play it next time I'm in the area.

As of this morning Mayday, I'd say at least 6 golfers in the world.

And I'll take your response as a 'no'.   ;D

I'm taking some guys to Odessa National for their first time. My reputation is on the line, but I would love to go back to ACCC.

Joe,

Thanks for the kind offer.  Wish I could have joined you at ACCC but I'll be at Disney's Toy Story on Ice.  Tough to cancel that tee time.

Enjoy the day at ACCC.

Bill,

No money was being tossed around that I know of, although it certainly would be a great course to have a little bet going on!  Especially coming down the home stretch!

Joe Bausch owns one of the club history books, so I will let him add to the history part.  Doak came in during the late 90's and did a terrific job in my opinion.

Joe-Thanks for organizing a fantastic day. As good as the golf course, locker room/bar, and view of the AC skyline were the GCA guys(and Scott) made the day. As a New York Giant`s fan I didn`t know what it would be like wedged in between all these Philly guys on the eve of the Giants/Eagles game. The Philly guys are top shelf. Can`t wait to get back to ACCC.

Last year it was one group.  This year it was two foursomes.  Perhaps we can come up with a name for this annual trek, sort of like the Super Bowl coming about in year 3.  ;)

Nota bene:  Joe Bausch had 3 birdies to everyone else's 0, if I recall correctly.

Thanks again, Joe.
