I still haven't decided which course I like better, but when a shuttle driver at Bandon asked me what I thought about the course, this was the explanation I came up with.

Old Macdonald is like Jennifer Aniston (at least the charcter she plays all the time on TV/movies). It is approachable, friendly, pretty as heck girl next door with whom you feel instantly comfortable with. She is the kinda girl you want to hang out with all the time and you wil never get bored with.

Pacific Dunes is more like Bar Refaeli. It's got all the curves and bells and whistles. It is exotic, super-model gorgeous, and you lust after it. You know just one round with her will fill all of your golfing desires.

I am not sure which way is better.  But I always did have a soft spot for Jennifer...

Spelling:  Refaeli, not Rafaeli, for the Israeli model.

I don't see how Jennifer Aniston (another spelling correction) can remotely be confused with the girl next door, if there is anything remotely humble/real about the GND.

Haven't seen Old Mac, so can't compare.  However, I don't find anything sexy about Pac Dunes.  I do find sexy in Tobacco Road and Tot Hill Farm, and hope to find sexy at Royal New Kent and Stonehouse this summer.
