Given the lack of responses so far Mark it looks like some of us need a clue or two.
2014 to date: not actually played anywhere yet!
Still to come: Hollins Hall; Ripon City; Shipley; Perranporth; St Enodoc

That looks like a colony of e-coli bacteria so I'll say Mexico or maybe Lanarkshire......

Its almost 40 years since I gave up Latin at school and I haven't got a clue what the two of you are on about.

However one of the few courses I know of in Italy is Circolo del Golf Roma-Acquasanta and I assume this is it?

Andrew, It's over 40 years since I gave up latin at school, but I get to keep it active as I quite often sing in latin - in fact I sang in a performance of the Monteverdi Vespers last night.

You are correct. It is the Rome Golf Club, Acquasanta.

Thanks, Mark.

Interesting - I think I only see two fairway bunkers on the entire course, including one on the "S Curve" hole in the upper right.

Maybe they had to stop digging out bunkers for all the ancient artifacts  they were unearthing.  Which is as good a reason as any for going light on the bunkers...
